Simulation: a new way of medical training
SimUSanté®, the largest multidisciplinary simulation centre in Europe, created by the CHU of Amiens, will be at the 2017 Paris Healthcare Week.
Within the trade show, a mini simulation centre will be created, comprising a maternity and neonatal resuscitation unit, a hospital room and a debriefing room.
A multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses and ergotherapists, and high-fidelity simulation equipment will be present, enabling demonstrations and workshops on various topics, such as risk prevention, carer-patient communication, adapting to disabilities, childbirth, care and resuscitation for newborns and premature babies, and ultrasound scans. Thus, visitors can try out certain procedures on high-fidelity simulators and talk to our experts in a hands-on learning environment.
