Description
The Regional Health Agency is responsible for managing the health system in the region. It defines and implements health policy in the regions, as close as possible to the needs of the population. It is competent in the field of health as a whole, from prevention to care, to medico-social support.
The organization of ARS Martinique guarantees transparency and transversality to adapt to health issues. The ARS bodies coordinate health policies and consult with stakeholders and user representatives.
The ARS has two main missions: the management of public health policy and the regulation of health supply in the region.
